Toen dit dier in 2014 werd ontdekt, was het meteen duidelijk. de T-rex(ook wel Tyrannosaurus) had een nieuwe concurrent. dit dier was bijna even groot als de noord-Amerikaanse tiran en had ook veel bijtkracht (5-6,5 ton). verder is dit het grootste lid van de Abelisauridae. zijn voorpoten waren zo kort dat ze elke functie waren verloren, toch hadden ze vier vingers per stuk.

Good to see some latest of Maastrichtian mega theropod material apart from T Rex available now and hopefully will expand round the world as T Rex to be honest was the only species to dominate this period of the Mezosoic and thats when the most advanced theropods had evolved maximus up until the K/T event. The Carcharodontosaurs where only larger because of the sauropods they preyed upon where at maximum size during there reign during the Cenomanian of Africa and South America but the Tyrannosaurs at least for there size where more powerfull predators with more mass, senses and intelligence dont know about Abelisaurs like Titanovenator Kenyaensis we'll have to wait for the 40% skeletal remains to be announced on the internet for me to find out?
